I first met Jade and Matt at a wedding fayre before they had any firm plans in place and liked them right away so when they booked Delbury hall they chose me to document their day I was thrilled.
Delbury Hall is an imposing Georgian house set within 80 acres of countryside on the outskirts of Ludlow. The bride, her bridesmaids and mother got ready in the clocktower on site and enjoyed fizz and nibbles before the ceremony which took place on the mezzanine level of the coach house. An emotional Jade was accompanied by her dad, in her own words, her hero. Whilst the weather was typically British grey and overcast the couple were up for outdoor portraits before heading in for speeches by the father of the bride, Jade and Matt and their best man, Matt’s brother. Their table decorations were hand drawn by Jade herself (future business perhaps?) and alluded to what was to come shortly…cake.
But these guys didn’t just have one wedding cake, they had TWENTY SEVEN. You read that right, TWENTY SEVEN DIFFERENT CAKES. A wall of cake if you will. All created by Toot Sweet Shrewsbury and they were to die for!
After the couple did their first dance, Jade and her hero dad took to the floor to an acoustic version of Mr Blue Sky.
What a fabulous wedding guys, here’s a few of my faves…
