Well this is a bit exciting, my images from a styled shoot in an actual magazine for the very first time!!!! WAHHHHHHH!!!! You can go see it for yourselves in Your West Midlands County Wedding Magazine and apart from the odd sneak peek, I’ve had to keep the full shoot under wraps until now.

Back at the start of the year, the wonderful make up artist that is Zoe Bywater and I collaborated for the first time and she very kindly invited me to be involved on this shoot at Davenport House. I leapt at the chance! Zoe’s vision and creativity behind the shoot meant I had an easy task on my hands; two gorgeous models, a stunning location plus bespoke dresses, jewellery and artisanal flowers to boot!

This was my first time at Davenport House, a Grade 1 listed Georgian country house that has recently been restored to host weddings and events. Sat in Worfield, near Bridgnorth within the Shropshire countryside, it offers both indoor and outdoor ceremonies, either in the Great Hall, the Saloon or on the steps of the main house. The main house has the bridal dressing room for the getting ready part of the wedding day and Davenport also offer a bridal preparation area in the Stables complete with it’s own kitchen and lounge area.

The grounds are plentiful with almost endless places for photo opportunities including a unique sunken lake but the interior of Davenport is just as stunning with beautiful places for portraits all over.
