Each year in July my husband and I take a few days off and enjoy a bit of downtime and celebrate my birthday. This year is tricky with it being the busiest year of my business so far (think seven weddings in one month kind of busy and you’re there). But we’ve done it. It’s been ace just to hang out together as a little family, team Gough, our gang. J’s my best friend and the funniest person on the planet (he does Melchett impressions on demand just for me) and Avalon has somehow become an actual little person seemingly overnight. Just to be together and watch films, be outdoors, go out for coffee, the little things.
