Walcot Hall Wedding Shoot Day

Jan 31, 2022

I’m sharing the first part of the Walcot Hall Wedding Shoot Day hosted by the epic Photography Farm. This day was one the best days for flexing my creativity and for getting inspiration from the wonderful people at Farm. This particular shoot day was hosted by Photography Farm head honcho Lisa Devlin and the incredible Rebecca Carpenter. Two absolute babes who brought their A game to this shoot. This portion of the shoot had an editorial feel with a little mermaid theme, with three looks and three settings with the very brilliant Kathryn on hand as our bride.

Shoot days are a little different from workshops; they are more independent and self driven. Photography Farm provide the location and the models but the rest is up to you, so you really do get out what you put in. This shoot day took place at one of my absolute favourite Shropshire wedding venues too, Walcot Hall. It is an imposing Georgian country house that offers beautiful grounds, stunning interiors, quirky accommodation, and even boating lakes to boot. You can view more of Walcot Hall here: https://walcothall.com/

I’ve shared plenty from this shoot on my socials but it really does need a proper place on the blog. Enjoy!

In my humble opinion, Photography Farm is the best place for working photographers to further their education and keep the creativity spark going. Head to https://photographyfarm.co.uk/ to find out more and to see availability for their next shoot day.

If you’re planning a wedding at Walcot Hall, I’d love to chat with you about your photography plans.

When I’m not shooting people in love you can find me at home, probably drinking too much coffee, eating cake and watching a film. My husband and I hold a lot of our conversations in film quotes. We’re kind of film geeks. After ten years of photographing almost 200 couples who love the bones of each other, I’m still in love with weddings and I would love to hear more about yours.
