Rose & Nick you absolute wonderful humans! It was a complete pleasure to photograph this wedding at the stunning Mill Barns in Alverley, near Bridgnorth. It’s an exclusive use venue, formally the site of an 17th Century water mill, offering a waterfront setting within 8 acres of beautiful grounds and established gardens. It’s easy to see why Rose and Nick chose this venue for their wedding day.
The day began at Rose’s childhood home and then everyone headed over to St Peters church in Kinver for the ceremony; they had a choir as well as acapella singing and beautiful readings from family members. Once the service was over, the wedding party made their way to the Mill Barns. After some very lovely and very funny speeches, Nick announced that each table had a nominated host and each host was to wear a chefs hat and were tasked with serving the table – some took to this more naturally than others!
As the weather was dry, once the meal was complete everyone could enjoy drinks on the huge terrace where Rose’s uncle brought out a guitar and an Irish sing along took place – absolutely wonderful! Here’s just a few of my favourites from the day…
