The Bringewood Wedding – Kesia & Ash

Nov 29, 2017

This is up there as possibly one of the wettest weddings I think I’ve ever shot. It also happens to be one of the most romantic. Kesia and Ash were friends for ages before actually becoming a couple; When I asked them how they got together, they explained they were on a night out in a crowded bar and so as to not get separated from each other, Ash reached out for Kesia’s hand, they both said it was electric when their hands found each other. From that point on, they were together.

Ash proposed during a family meal, a BIG family meal with both sets of parents, grandparents in the same room so the pressure was on but of course Kesia said yes!

Their ceremony took place at St Giles church on the outskirts of Ludlow and a reception followed at The Bringewood, a beautiful secluded place high up in the countryside. With emotional speeches from Kesia’s dad, Ash and Ash’s best man/brother, this wedding was enough to give anyone all the feels.

Here’s just a few of my faves…

When I’m not shooting people in love you can find me at home, probably drinking too much coffee, eating cake and watching a film. My husband and I hold a lot of our conversations in film quotes. We’re kind of film geeks. After ten years of photographing almost 200 couples who love the bones of each other, I’m still in love with weddings and I would love to hear more about yours.
