Ahhh, Meg and Andy…I adored this pair right from the off; they’re crazy about each other, Meg is decisive, organised and introduced me to hazelnut Douwe Egberts coffee – amazing.
Their wedding at Tern Hill Hall hotel in Market Drayton was perfectly them – Andy demonstrated his talent and carpentry skills by making the HUGE cake stand and bases for the centre pieces, the seating chart was a colour coded spread sheet as a nod to Meg’s organisational abilities. The cake and table names were a not-so-subtle nod to Andy’s love of chocolate.
Surrounded by friends and family from near and far, from Market Drayton to Australia, Meg made her entrance to meet her groom to the Rocky theme followed by their exit as Mr & Mrs to the theme from Indiana Jones – love it! More laughter, a few tears, hilarious speeches, a close up magician, more cake than you could shake a stick at and so much love in one building for these amazing people.
Despite the weather being a tad unpredictable we were still able to head out for some gorgeous portraits throughout the day choosing our moments in between the rain and then that sunset happened. Swoon.
It was ace to have my Uni chum Sophie Kerr along for the day too taking care of all my assisting/second shooting needs. She’s brilliant at this photography stuff and you can see more of her work here: http://sophiekerrphotography.weebly.co.uk
