This boutique venue is unique; offering luxury, privacy, and tailoring each wedding to each couple individually. Marc and Jonathan, the faces behind Stockton House, are also the owners of award winning catering company, Caviar and Chips, so they are well versed in working closely with couples, ensuring they have everything exactly as they wish. This also means you have the opportunity to craft your own bespoke wedding menu with their amazing chefs.

A weekend retreat for your wedding

Couples can stay as many days as they like, as there are no fixed arrival times and you can leave at your leisure. Every night you stay at Stockton you can enjoy a delicious, freshly prepared breakfast for you and all of your staying guests. Perhaps even staying on for an al fresco picnic the day after your wedding or a trip to the wine cellar the night before the big day for a glass or two of a special tipple.

With a civil ceremony licence in the unique one hundred seater secret walled garden dining room, any of the luxurious rooms on the ground floor, or the incredible Victorian turning house, you are spoilt for choice for where to host your wedding ceremony. You could also have your nuptials at the historic 11th Century St Chad’s church just down the lane.

From my point of view as a photographer, it’s wonderful! It is a dream to photograph at Stockton as there are so many places for your photos and everywhere will look gorgeous throughout the seasons. From the main house with the staircase and beautiful rooms, to the gardens, woodland, the turning house, and the surrounding countryside means you can enjoy an uninterrupted sunset too. It’s superb and I am so excited to see the results for this wonderful Shropshire wedding venue.
