I’m in my tenth year of photographing weddings and in that time I’ve been fortunate to see so many stunning venues, so over the next few months I’m going to put together a few blog posts about my favourite ones. This one is all about Rowton Castle.
Rowton is one of my favourite venues to photograph for many reasons but the main ones are:
The staff are hands down the best in the business. Each and every member of the team will go above and beyond for their couples and ensure that each wedding runs smoothly.
It’s gorgeous! There are few places that can boast being so easy on the eyes; from the imposing exterior, to the quirky hand painted interior and everything in between.
The castle even has it’s own dedicated place for the morning prep, The Tower House. It’s glamorous, stylish and all yours for the getting ready part of the day. For your ceremonies, you can get married outdoors within the Linden Belvedere or indoors in the beautiful Cardeston Suite. After your ceremony, you can explore and enjoy the sprawling grounds, which include expansive views over the Shropshire countryside as well as a sunken lake or just mingle and have a drink on the terrace. As it offers exclusive use for each wedding, you can be sure to have the place to yourselves.
I’ve put together a few images from weddings I’ve photographed there below, hope you like them…
