On a grim January evening this year, I received a very lovely text message from a lady called Elizabeth whose daughter was getting married in April and desperately wanted to book me ASAP but didn’t want to call me during the evening for fear of being rude. I knew right of the bat that I would love shooting this wedding!
Jess works at The Makery in Bath and her delicate, personalised touches were everywhere. Pretty much anything that could be homemade, was. Pimhill Barn is the perfect setting for a DIY wedding and it made for the most romantic of settings for Jess & Joe to say “I do”. It’s rustic, charming barn was decorated from top to bottom by Jess and her friends & family. Surrounded by the loveliest of people, on a beautiful Spring day, their happy ever after happened.
A warmer, nicer or more friendly bunch you’d be hard pressed to meet – special mention to Elizabeth, a most wonderful lady, some of the coolest bridesmaids I’ve ever met, the awesome groomsmen and a Canadian called Dave, proving yet again that Canadians are just so darn nice.
Thank you for allowing me into your lives. Thank you for trusting me to be the one with the camera.
Wow that a beautiful wedding, I am looking at Pimhill Barns also, and I love your layout for the tables, how many guests did you have?
Where did you get the tables from?
where did you put the dance floor? did you attach the Marquee?
Thank you, hope you don’t mind me asking questions, we currently live in New Zealand and are planning from here! Hard xx
