As some of you may or may not know, last month my husband and I welcomed a daughter into our lives. Avalon Frances Gough arrived twelve days late on the 25th March at 12:21pm after a fifteen hour labour. I cannot believe that she is one month old tomorrow. These last few weeks have flown by. I have a new found love and respect for my husband seeing him with his pride and joy. I’ve discovered that I can eat, get dressed, respond to emails and hold a conversation all while either feeding or trying to placate a newborn baby. I’ve also discovered that sleep is overrated. I have become that woman you see in the supermarket with a screaming child. I think it is a miracle if I manage to get dressed before 10am. And I wouldn’t change any of it. I am smitten with the coolest little girl in the world right now…
