I really do heart my clients. I first met up with this pair over a coffee and when they said they loved Blackadder and were planning on having Metallica as their wedding music I knew I would love this wedding!
It’s hard to put into words just how awesome Gill and Ant’s big day was. My day started out under a cloudless sky in the gorgeous Shropshire Hills at the farm owned by Gill’s parents. During the bridal prep, Gill’s mom, Nicky, was busy arranging all the wedding flowers with the help of her amazing friends that she had been growing for the last year, bridesmaid Kirsty had customised the bridal shoes with a quote from Boromir from Lord of the Rings, and the whole wedding party had wrote letters to the bride for her to open on her wedding day morning. I had to pinch myself it was so good!
The ceremony took place at Bishops Castle Town Hall, a beautiful building that doubles as an art gallery and only recently began allowing weddings. Following the ceremony we ducked out for a few minutes of couples portraits while caterers got to work on providing champagne and canapés for the guests. The newly married Northover drove away in a rally car and headed back to Sunny Bank Farm to celebrate with friends and family from far and wide plus made time for more photos, confetti, laughter, speeches, a hog roast and one of the best live bands going, ‘Bad Excuses’.
And yes, their first dance was to Metallica “Nothing else matters”.
More like this please dearest clients.
