Avalon Frances Gough. Born on Tuesday 25th March 2014 at 12:21pm. Weighing in at 7lbs 9oz. 12 days overdue.
Our darling girl, our squidge, our Lonnie, our crazy little bear. Where have the last two years gone?
You are talking so much right now. You shout “all day long” as we sing the wheels on the bus go round. You shout “and more!” when you demand more of something (usually food or milk). You shout “hiya”!
Your words include but are not limited to:
Duck. Cat. Car. Cake. Bike. Bus. Moon. Star. Hot. Cold. Cloud. Yes. No. What’s in there? Wash, Bath. Hug. Red. Yellow. Blue. Slide. See-saw. Ow Bist – your dad is particularly proud of this one.
You can run now, and so fast too. You didn’t walk until you were about 15 months old so to see you charge about is hilarious and strange and wonderful.
You jump around to music (recent favourites include The Cult “She Sells Sanctuary”, Harry Belafonte “Jump in the Line” and Jess Glynne “Hold My Hand”.)
You have the best laugh. It fills our hearts to the brim and we cannot help but join in with you.
You’re independent and wilful and already know your own mind. Please don’t ever lose these characteristics.
You give the best hugs and say “ahhh” when you put your arms around us.
Happy Birthday you brilliant, funny, amazing, beautiful, wonderful, happy girl xxxxxx
