Sugnall Walled Garden is the perfect wedding venue in Staffordshire for a laid back Summer wedding. The actual wall surrounding the garden goes back to the Eighteenth Century and they have been licensed to hold civil ceremonies in their stunning peach house since 2014 and then have a beautiful marquee at the centre of it all to host your reception.
Chloe and Sean embraced the DIY task at hand to create a stunning vintage look for their wedding including handmade details, old fashioned sweets, wildflower centre pieces and incredible hanging decorations.
Chloe, her mom and bridesmaids got ready at a local B&B and there was plenty of time to photograph the preparation and Chloe’s details including not one but two pairs of shoes. Chloe’s dress and been tailored and customised by her own super talented mother to include the lace overlay over the bodice.
Awaiting Chloe’s arrival at Sugnall was not only her groom, family and friends but also the couples beloved pooch, Millie, looking gorgeous with her customised lead/bow combo.
Following the ceremony, guests could mingle, drink Pimms and enjoy the superb setting in amongst apple & pear trees and lavender. The July day looked like it might rain but it held off so we had plenty of time for laid back portraits of the newly weds and then onto lawn games and burgers.
The evening began to get underway with speeches by the father of the bride, the groom and the best woman plus a few more portraits of Chloe & Sean (because, why not?!) and then the awesome Kind Pleasure and the Biscuit Boys took to the stage ensuring an awesome night was had by all.
