With dark, damp February still sprawling in front of us, I’m blogging this beauty of a wedding at Rowton Castle from last Summer. Katie and Sam met back in 2012 when they were introduced by mutual friends to each other in a Cardiff bar whilst they were at Uni.
Sam proposed at home in May 2015 but unbeknownst to Katie, he had travelled 3 hours to ask for her parents permission – how lovely is that?!
They chose the stunning Rowton Castle for their big day. As children they would go past it on the way to the seaside and so when they went to have a look around as a potential wedding venue, it was a natural choice. It’s a Grade II listed country house that was built in the 17th Century and has hosted thousands of weddings over the last twenty years. The castle offers exclusive use, beautiful grounds and a team of staff who are second to none.
