This is Mhairi & Dave. Every now and then a wedding comes along and knocks me for six. This was one of them. Their emotional and original ceremony took place outdoors at Fishmore Hall, Ludlow with the sun shining, a harpist playing and was hands down one of the lovliest weddings I’ve been lucky enough to photograph.

Mhairi’s family are Scottish and Dave is Irish so although there were plenty of traditions it also included Dr Suess, a cookie monster cake, a caileigh, a handmade ring cushion including material from the mother of the bride’s own wedding dress plus some of the funniest speeches I’ve heard in a long time. Following the ceremony we headed to Dinham Weir and took some formal images of the new Mr and Mrs Boland. I heart my clients very much!
