I always knew that I was going to enjoy shooting this wedding. Firstly, Emma and Alex are lovely and have wicked personalities including a great sense of humour. Plus their venue is The Park House Hotel in Shifnal which is super gorgeous. Add my best photographer friend Helen Howard in on second shooting duties and Nick Boy as a videographer and you know the day will be ace.

Their venue was originally two separate houses when it was built in the 17th Century but it is now a beautiful and elegant hotel and wedding venue in the market town of Shifnal, Shropshire. Emma and Alex held their ceremony in The Garden Suite, a huge room with high ceilings and dramatic chandeliers then followed with a drinks reception outside in the warm August sunshine.

There are so many highlights to this beautiful day but I think my favourite moment has to be when Emma’s dad saw her as a bride for the first time. So many emotions!
