Disney Wedding at The Mytton & Mermaid – Tasha & Ben

Feb 13, 2020

If you’re a Disney fan and planning a wedding, read on.

Tasha and Ben are quite possibly the biggest Disney fans I’ve ever met, they even got engaged at Disney World in front of Cinderella’s Castle. So naturally, their wedding was going to have a Disney element or two. They painstakingly created the decor themselves, gifted everyone with their own mouse ears and cast member badges (even venue staff and suppliers!) and of course Tasha was going to be dressed as an actual princess. She chose designer Alfred Angelo’s ‘Rapunzel’ themed dress and looked every inch the Disney heroine. The couple even had their first dance to ‘Happily Ever After’ which is the song that plays during the fireworks display at the end of the night at Disney parks. Amazing.

They chose Shrewsbury wedding venue The Mytton & Mermaid for their big day for it’s friendly, and relaxed atmosphere and were very much looking forward to having a big family get together whilst bringing a little bit of Disney magic to Shropshire! Guests were even encouraged to come in fancy dress should they wish.

Here’s just a few of the highlights from this epic Summer wedding, enjoy!

When I’m not shooting people in love you can find me at home, probably drinking too much coffee, eating cake and watching a film. My husband and I hold a lot of our conversations in film quotes. We’re kind of film geeks. After ten years of photographing almost 200 couples who love the bones of each other, I’m still in love with weddings and I would love to hear more about yours.
