It’s entirely best man Sion’s responsibility that this wedding took place as it was him who introduced Zoe and Cam to each other at Reading University. When they first got in touch with me, I knew that I would love to shoot this wedding.
Cam sought permission from Zoe’s dad before proposing, an occasion that also included an unscheduled endurance test for Zoe’s dad as Cam decided to take him for a run, unknowingly a much tougher than anticipated route. The proposal itself came as a complete surprise to Zoe as Cam decided to ask her to marry him halfway down a Blue run whilst skiing in France!
So on a very warm, bright, glorious September day, Zoe and Cam invited all their friends and family to share their big day with them; first with a church service at Myddle Church, and then back to Zoe’s family home for a marquee reception for plenty of drinks and canapes in the sunshine. The couple hired the services of Hidden Weddings and Events, a wedding planning service who also provide on the day assistance ensuring that everything went smoothly, I’d highly recommend them!
Seeing as the weather was so lovely, the relaxed portraits could continue into the early evening and we even got a pretty stunning sunset too. I had the best time at this wedding and can’t thank Zoe and Cam enough for allowing me to capture their special day. A massive thank you to their families too for being so welcoming to me. Here’s a few of my faves…
