Mytton & Mermaid Christmas Wedding

Dec 22, 2019

It’s the most wonderful time of the year!

When one of my favourite wedding venues got in touch for a Christmas themed photo shoot, I was there with proverbial (jingle) bells on. The Mytton and Mermaid in Shrewsbury is ideal for weddings at any time of year, but there really is something magical about a Christmas wedding; cosy fireplaces, red and green flowers and foliage, an abundance of Christmas trees and fairy lights, plus it’s placed in a stunning setting that is incredible all year round.

So settle in with a glass of mulled wine and enjoy some highlights.

Merry Christmas indeed.

When I’m not shooting people in love you can find me at home, probably drinking too much coffee, eating cake and watching a film. My husband and I hold a lot of our conversations in film quotes. We’re kind of film geeks. After ten years of photographing almost 200 couples who love the bones of each other, I’m still in love with weddings and I would love to hear more about yours.
