I first met Louise back in 2014 when I photographed her brother’s wedding, then our paths crossed again when she and Ali were guests at another wedding so when it came time to plan her own big day, I apparently was the obvious choice! What a compliment!
Ali and Louise chose the gorgeous Shooters Hill Hall on the outskirts of Wem, in the lush Shropshire countryside for their wedding venue; wowed by the exclusivity, the personal and intimate attention to detail along with use of the main house for the bridal party and a huge marquee for their reception, it was perfect.
So on a very hot July day, they said ‘I do’ surrounded by their wonderful families, their adorable daughter and their closest friends. Louise and her entourage got ready in the main house whilst Ali arrived in style in his own car a little later. Shooters provided a small marquee attached to the main house for the ceremony and then everyone could mingle and enjoy the weather outside. The speeches were hilarious and emotional at this wedding and as the weather was so lovely we could head out for golden hour portraits too. I loved this wedding but one of my favourite highlights was when the dancefloor action got underway and everyone got very into the photo booth props!
